Are blogs outdated? Did I miss the blog era?

These certainly were my first thoughts after spending a few years focusing on a visual micro blog.

Instagram has been my main focus throughout my blogging years and it's a great way to summarize an experience into a few moments or seconds but that's not what this space is about. This is a place where I will walk you through my experiences in depth and with extra love. 

If we haven't met, my name is Carissa. In case you didn't already know, I adore wine. I fell in love with wine at a young age, while working in the service industry. I had the chance to learn about wine from an incredibly respected sommelier in Vancouver, BC. Fine, I'll name drop, Sebastian Le Goff. 

I worked for Cactus Club Cafe for nearly eight years across three locations. I fell in love with the stories, the history, and the tradition of wine. After finishing my undergrad degree I went back to school to start studying my WSET. I've spent the last couple of years working in the wine industry managing a Territory for an agency. There's allot to be said about being a Territory manager aka wine rep but I won't get into it now. 

I'm currently still finishing my WSET education & will advance to the final level shortly.  I truly hope this page excites you try to more wines and explore more regions.
